Ecoincentives

Our commitment to the reduction of CO2 emissions and a progressive improvement of sustainable mobility is supported by the government by subsidising the purchase of vehicles fuelled with natural gas and offering incentives for people to scrap old cars. According to the amended version of art. 29 of law decree no. 248 of 31 December 2007 you can profit from governmental contributions for the purchase of natural gas cars until 31 December 2009 (to be registered by 31 March 2010); you can profit from car scrapping incentives until 31 December 2008. Purchasing a new natural gas car If you buy a new car that runs on natural gas, your Dealer will give you right away: a contribution from the government of 1500 Euro; a contribution from the government of 2000 Euro if the quantity of CO2 emitted by the car is lower than 120 g/km. All the vehicles in our Natural Power range with dual fuel feed (petrol and natural gas) are eligible for these contributions. Purchasing a new natural gas car When you buy a new car and scrap a EURO 0, EURO 1 or EURO 2 vehicle (registered by 31 December 1996) you can save the following additional amounts: government incentive of 700 Euro, if the quantity of CO2 emitted by the new car is lower than 140 g/km, plus 1-year exemption from the road tax (or 3-year exemption from the road tax if you scrap a EURO 0 car) government incentive of 800 Euro if the quantity of CO2 emitted by the new car is lower than 120 g/km, plus 1-year exemption from the road tax (or 3-year exemption from the road tax if you scrap a EURO 0 car) The eco-incentive increases by another 500 Euro if you scrap two cars when you buy a new one. Scrapping your old car Are you planning to scrap your car but do not want to buy a new one? You will get a refund of 150 Euro to cover scrapping costs, plus a 3-year free travel pass for public transport, or you may choose to receive an 800 Euro bonus for car sharing services.
